are there still growth hormones in milk?

Posted on | July 15, 2010 |

i know on most milk containers it says something "does not contain growth hormone rBST" or something like that. but theres this other hormone that is put in cow to gave them make more milk but it causes the cows pain and it makes their milk producing area (forgot wat that parts called…) to swell, and when they are milked, pus comes out too. i forgot wat this hormone is called but i saw them talk about it in a documentary "the corporations". i heard from my teachers and classmates that a lot of the milk is pus and that sometime blood comes out too and they use that for making chocolate milk. anybody know if they still use this type of hormone in cows? is there still pus in our milk?
