You are right. It’s not easy to talk to some people about steroids. This is something that bodybuilder discuss and share between them. Now just to make it clear, there is no secret. It’s just about learning and educate ourself on the subject. Knowledge is a must.
Has for workout plan and training technique, they often give the basic information, because what works for one won’t for another. Everybody is different. For example you and I might weight the same, look approximately the same, but you realize that for you more than often, you biceps react well with medium weight and long reps, and maybe for me to get the same results I need short reps and heavier weight.
That’s why it’s good to change your workout routines and see what work best for you. You always want and need to shock your muscles for best results.

they might not share their needles, but pretty much anything and everything you would need to know about how to become a bodybuilder is on the internet. dedication, time and good genetics are needed though. Everyone probably thinks their workout schedule works the best, and it might for them, but there’s proven exercises that work best.

there really isn’t any secrets as such regarding training, good basic compound lifts will always be the core of it(deadlifts, benchpress and squats)!good form on everything is a plus, going that extra rep(complete failure usually) and knowledge of rest and recovery, nutrition and how to stimulate growth.using isolation exercises correctly!on the steroid side the pro’s are told by scientists doctors and medical professionals about quantities, cycles etc,and as another answerer said genetics play a part.watch videos of a few doing the same exercise, probably use different form and speed to a degree,so not all using a shared secret formula.mike mentzer and arnie trained completely differently, still both were top of the game back then!!!!
