How can I gain weight and get a six pack at the same time?
Posted on | July 5, 2010 |
I working on getting a six pack, I have a layer of fat on my abs though. Everyone keeps saying the best way to get defined abs is lose weight, but I’m actually trying to gain weight and get bigger by working out all my other muscle groups. Will the fat on my stomach eventually turn into muscle if I keep working my abs out?

Well honestly it should be easy. Just go to a gym. Or do sit ups to work your tummy muscles. And here is a trick. When you are watching TV, lie on your front and place a penny about 2 inches below your belly button. When adverts come on lift your tummy of the penny, using only your tummy muscles. You must not lift you hips or anything but your tummy.
Muscle is heavier than fat so the weight gain should come when you get the 6 pack.
And don’t rush.

I would think so, just work out that area of your body more intensely than the rest

Well gaining muscle tends to add up the number on the scale, because muscle weighs more that fat
Fat doesn’t turn into muscle. Fat is lost and muscle is gained
but good luck on the six pack
