How can I increase my rate of growth?
Posted on | June 30, 2010 |
I’m a 14 year old male. I don’t think I’ve entered my growth spurt yet, but other than that, how can I increase the rate of which I grow, such as any foods, drinks, or exercises I can do. Please don’t mention growth hormones.

Hi, I have a few suggestion for you.
1# Nutrition is the absolute most important factor for increasing lean body mass (nonfat), check out the Zone diet it sounds like a fad diet but there is a lot of intelligent research that has gone into its construction
Info about the diet
Enter the Zone http://www.amazon.com/Zone-Dietary-Permanently-Physical-Performance/dp/0060391502
CrossFit Journal 21

2# Also check out CrossFit as a program it is high intensity circuit training that is incredibly efficient for increasing anaerobic and aerobic capacity in short period of time. An average session is 20 minutes sometimes less sometimes more. Their workout information is available on their website, and there are many cities in and around North America that have CrossFit affiliated gyms with all the equipment you would want and run regular classes, that being said you can also do it in your garage or park with little to no equipment.

P.S i (plus many other colleagues and clients) made huge gains in muscle mass and decreased my body fat substantially using this exact formula. Good luck with your efforts, & be consistent!

Well first of all, you can drink milk. Milk for one strengthens the body, and the bones in it. If you drink allot before your growth spurt, you will probably be taller and healthier. Eat your vitamins every day. You don’t have to use growth hormones! In fact, since you didn’t have your growth spurt yet, you probably will grow considerably more. Don’t worry about it till you had you change in voice. ;P
