Sleeping schedules and growth hormones?

Posted on | August 31, 2009 |

I tend to go to sleep fairly late, 4-5 am, and wake up around 2-3 pm everyday. I’m aware of the fact that growth hormones are released while you sleep and I currently draw the shades so my room is always quite dark while I sleep, yet I’m still somewhat concerned that despite the lighting conditions, the time issue still causes problems. Will continuing with this schedule prevent growth hormones from being properly released and limit my height?

you are ok 5 am to 2pm is nine hours for your body to repair itself and get those needed hormones. although this sleep pattern is not emotionally or socially healthy.
