What are the best things for a woman to eat to gain healthy weight?

I have an unhealthy metabolism that causes me to be underweight, i can gain weight and keep it on for about a week, but then my body seems to flush it or if i exercise im back to being too skinny the very morning after. Im very thin and but not in a healthy looking way, so what kinds of things should i eat that will help me gain weight and keep it on?

    Lots of protein, and some New England Manchowder.

    hey…I really don’t think you need any extra supplements or medications, just to gain weight. Get on a solid high-calorie diet, and you’ll have no problem putting on the weight. I’d suggest checking out this fitness site that I follow:

    Lots of nuts, all types, particularly macadamia and brazil nuts, bananas and other fruits. You need to be healthy in order to gain weight which means eating lots of fruit and veg because the vitimins that they provide you with will help you to absorb the fat and goodness that your body needs in order to gain weight.
