I vote for "Baseball Steriod Use"…..
Do you think maybe… just maybe… if those in Congress would spend as much time on IMPORTANT issues (ie. NOT steroid use) that may this country would be in better shape???
So what is your favorite time/money waster?

I take it you haven’t read the 900-page JOBS Act of 2004. It created huge changes to the tax laws.
The real problem here is not that Congress hasn’t done anything. The real problem is that people like you assume that simply because you don’t KNOW of anything Congress has done, they must not have done anything.

Congress has done nothing of any significance in 7 years. Rememember that when they come up for election and vote everyone of them Republican and Democrat out of office.

Hmmm. Good question. I would say televising of Congressional hearings is the most important thing. Who needs a Comedy Channel when we have clowns like Maxine Waters on the tube? Laughter is good for us.

Sernator Arlen Specer of ( R, PA) was talking about holding congressional hearings about horse racing. His concern was the safety of the horse.
You have to realize, if I weere a horse, I would think the Senator from PSA would be doing me a very valuable service.
Arlen Specter is very interested in sports in Philadelphia, and I know he holds season tickets for the Eagles.
It’s comforting to know we have the right person to run it if the US Senate would ever merge wirth ESPN…

Time and money waster aside, one of the worst was the Guantanamo Bay decision and how Bush gave himself the right (using executive order) to suspend habeas corpus against anyone " not just "unlawful" combatants but also to U.S. citizens with no constitutional rights….but things of this nature has happened before…..and most likely will happen again.
Wartime "privilege" and what not.
Oh…and unauthorized charges on the Federal American Express Card. Annual cost: $24 billion…..ummmm….ok……….

lol yea they havent done nothing for this country but argue. Thats why their approval rating is even lower than Bushs. This is one of the reasons im voting for McCain, he has a great history of reaching out to both parties and working with them. I think he can help restore our pitiful congress and stop wasting our taxdollars. INDEPENDENTS FOR MCCAIN 08!!!
