palmeiro because he pointed his finger and flat out lied about it. he basically accused congress to why the congress has any suspicion of him.

AROD, Palmeiro and Clemens.
I have lost just about all respect for all three of those players. Mostly the last two because they openly denied it when it is proven the used roids.

That’s pretty tough, I think they’re all an embarrassment to the sport. I think the most personally embarrassing is probably Rafael Palmeiro. Pointing at the judge while saying that with the stern look on his face, then he gets outted in Canseco’s book and tests positive during a test later in the year. Ouch.

Clemens, because he is throwing everyone under the bus.

I would say A-rod. I don’t think anyone expected it to come from him. I mean, look at all these guys on the list, they kind of have the same build. Arod on the other hand, is totally different. His athleticism outclasses all of these guys. He didn’t need them, openly said he never took them, but at the end he DID.

i say clemens, then arod, then mcgwire.
mcgwire is the first one elligible for hof that isnt getting in purely based on PEDs. arod WAS a hero. and clemens cant fess up.

Jose Canseco! I don’t know why you don’t have him up there. He not only was one if not the biggest offender, but, he tried to disrupt the entire league and turned into a snitch just to sell books.
Remember he used to deny it all the time also. But, don’t lose sight of the fact that PEDs were NOT illegal for many years, and, really no one should have been deemed an embarrassment at all.
They should have created a rule and/or law to stop PEDs, Steroids…then start to enforce them.
It’s the American way to get the edge in EVERYTHING, and I do mean everything. It doesn’t matter what it is, what happened in Baseball is no different than what happens in every other dynamic and facet of our culture.

it is rather simple All of them are the worst with the exception of Sammy Sosa. they never found that Sosa usede steriods unless I missed that news story. with everyone else though, they all had a hand in embarrassing the game in one way or another.

Honestly, take your pick! All seem pathetic considering the circumstances. The fact that all had hall of fame ability. No doubt each and every one would have joined Cooperstown in time.
Money could not have possibly been the motivation. It had to be "ego". "I’m better than him and I’ll do whatever necessary to prove it".
How sad that they have all blackened their reputations, and for what?….Absolutely nothing!

All embarrassed baseball, but I have to say Barry Bonds to the greater degree.
One of the top achievements in baseball is the most home runs of all-time. As you know, barry Bonds currently sits atop that list.
The problem is that Barry may have* taken steroids to improve his performance on the field, which would then taint the record books in this case.
All of the others are not as high on lists of that magnitude in my opinion.
