January 24th, 2010 @ 5:08 amwell, estrogen and testosterone give us secondary sexual characteristics like breasts, pubic hair, etc. Human growth hormone makes us grow heighth. Other hormones like thyroid make our metabolism normal so promote growth and brain development.
